So for quite a while, the guy who sells the Retro Shooter console has been saying that the latest update is coming for around 3 months if not longer, well today is the day it finally went live. This adds a few tweaks here and there and support for more gun games such as the laser disc guns and the name version of Revolution X which all need to be added by yourself to the console.
To update plug in the console via ethernet lead for best results and leave the console connected to the internet and on the main menu, after a short time the update progress will begin and before you know it you will be on firmware 0.4.5.4. If it stops updating at any time or you don’t get the update, go into the settings menu and will see the following screens below.
This will then fix any update issues you may have, you may need to repeat the process multiple times if your box doesn’t auto-update. You can access the settings button by using a pin or paper clip and pushing it into the hole at the bottom of the Retro Shooter console.
